Alternatively, if you wish to stay in and around Queenstown on day two, you can take a local sight-seeing tour that encompasses the picturesque, historic town of Arrowtown (try gold panning) and Gibbston Valley where you can watch or participate in Bungee jumping and then enjoy a wine-tastings at some of Central Otago’s best wineries.
Your third day is designed your way. Rise early for a hot air balloon flight, visit local vineyards, go shopping or take a leisurely walk by the lake before departure. Every detail can be tailored to your interests, whether you prefer a luxury lodge with lake views, private villa or boutique alpine hotel. Airport transfers are taken care of.
