We live in the Splendid South. Working from Queenstown and Wānaka means our small team of experienced Travel Designers have a firm finger on the pulse of the Southern Lakes region of New Zealand’s South Island.

Every week we’re chatting to ski-field groomers or fly fishing guides, to helicopter pilots and local restaurant staff. We know what’s going on and this knowledge powers the precision of our planning. And although our offices are sited in Queenstown and Wānaka, our conversations extend to Sydney, Shanghai, Seattle and beyond.

Through these conversations with local people, our suppliers, and most importantly – you, our valuable clients – we are able to finetune our travel plans to maximise your New Zealand experience.

As your travel fixers, we ensure the budget you entrust with us is well-invested and that you get exactly what we collectively planned. Splendid South is a luxury journey business so we take our responsibility very seriously. We operate at the 4+ to 6 star range. Typically, this means you’ll be spending a minimum of $1,500 – $3,000 a day on accommodation, travel, experience and dining. We want to make sure every experience you enjoy, that we had a hand in planning, is fully maximised for your enjoyment and memorability.

So we do this only by working closely with a wide range of local partners before, and during, your stay in New Zealand. In front of us stands an army of the willing – multilingual tour guides, adventure guides, restaurateurs, farm tour operators, boat skippers, shop assistants, hotel staff and a myriad of others.

We know them and they know what we expect for you. And this is why we are a different travel company.
